Lithe People is partnering with PortSwigger as their managed recruitment service, to source and hire software developers for their new London office.
PortSwigger is an established and growing web security company on a mission to enable the world to secure the web. With its history dating back to 2003, PortSwigger now provides state-of-the-art cyber security offerings to the market in the form of off-the-shelf/in-the-box, SaaS, and training products.
Flat in structure, agile to the nth degree, and off-the-scale intelligent, PortSwigger is now in a position where they are expanding their development team beyond their Cheshire-based HQ, and opening an office that will disrupt the London software development recruitment market.

“...a bunch of highly-intelligent misfits” is how one current Swigger describes it. While the “misfits” bit is optional, “highly intelligent” is not - it’s part of the identity. That’s why they’ll look at your academic record as well as your professional experience. They know what does and doesn’t work - for them.
But “highly intelligent” isn’t enough by itself, it’s just the start. They also want people with that intelligence who are obsessed with what they don’t know, not what they do. They want people to be constantly learning, not constantly telling other people how good they are.
Also…you need to be agile. Lithe People is the Talent practice of Lithe Transformation, an agile business transformation consultancy, and PortSwigger is at least as agile as we are! You need to be comfortable with agile ways of working, and the more experience you have in a truly agile environment, the better.

What are we looking for?
In short we’re looking for experienced (from 3 years upwards) and talented software developers who are currently working in organisations that are hard to get into! That’s why we’re headhunting and not just advertising.
